Overview:
Bush Adventure Therapy (BAT) is a diverse field of practice combining adventure and outdoor environments to achieve therapeutic outcomes for those involved.
Bush Adventure Therapy provides individual counselling, therapeutic activities, and physical experiences in various outdoor settings. For example, you may lead groups on problem-solving, challenge courses, outdoor adventure activities (such as rock climbing, abseiling, rafting, caving, and bushwalking), or extended overnight expeditions involving backpacking canoeing, ski-touring, or snow camping. These programs assist your clients in building motivation to allow them to increase their self-awareness and achieve positive change.
