Join us for an exciting presentation on Ocean Mind’s surf therapy program! Our pilot randomised controlled trial tested the feasibility and acceptability of using surf therapy to improve mental health in youth. Results showed significant reductions in symptoms of depression, anxiety, and overall difficulties after the 6-week program. Combining the thrill of riding waves with the healing power of the ocean, our surf therapy intervention proved to be highly effective and enjoyable for youth. Discover the potential of surf therapy to bring positive change as we discuss methodology, key findings, and implications for practitioners and policymakers. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about the transformative benefits of surf therapy for youth well-being.
