Many teachers would like to combine their love of the outdoors and to enhance their expertise and preparedness to teach in that area, and as we know, teachers are often teaching out-of-field. Having great teachers in Outdoor Education can only enhance the outdoor industry.

Federation University is now offering Micro-credentials in middle years and senior secondary Outdoor Education, designed to fit within the Victorian VCE curriculum. These 2 units may appeal particularly to HPE teachers who have undertaken Outdoor Education teaching duties, and who want to increase their confidence and knowledge in the field.
