This workshop will test your awareness and progress in climate action. We may acquire a lot of information on sustainability and climate change but are we walking the talk? How far are we from achieving the goals? are we in a position to call ourselves sustainable? This interactive workshop will help you set baselines, assess your progress, and equip you to pursue sustainable performance and climate readiness better. Disclaimer: This workshop can be somewhat confronting, but we will also laugh, collaborate, drop masks and clarify the pathways to a better future.
About the Presenter
With a doctorate in education supported by a background in biological sciences and marine conservation, Dr. Edgar Caballero is an environmental educator focused on designing creative educational experiences and transforming our world, one plant at a time.
Dr. Edgar Caballero is currently the Education and Sustainability Coordinator at Banksia Gardens Community Services in Broadmeadows, where his work has been recognized with several awards: the 2020 ‘Out of School Hours Learning Support Program of the Year’, the 2023 Climate Action NHVIC Awards; and the 2024 Victorian Landcare Awards.
