About the Presenter
Dan Waters is an Engagement Advisor at HumanAbility. He has over 25 years’ experience in sport, recreation and higher education environments. Hear about the work HumanAbility are doing to review the qualifications in outdoor recreation and leadership and provide your input into the future of training in the industry.
Senior Policy Advisor at HumanAbility. Alison has almost 30 years experience in both policy and direct service across the human services fields (youth work, housing and early childhood). Alison has Masters (Social Science) and a Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership. She has worked as a hiking guide and volunteers at Cub Scout events, for a Hiking Organisation and at MTB events. She’s excited to bring her policy skills to support the Outdoor Industry, through her work at HumanAbility.
Martina Rienzner is a Training Product and Project Manager at HumanAbility. As manager of the Outdoor Recreation VET Qualification Review, Martina looks forward to connecting with other industry experts.
Steven Schumann was trained in the VET system and has worked within Vocational Education and Training for more than 20 years with experience across 5 industry sectors focusing on leadership, engagement, compliance and quality. He believes that collaboration with Industry is fundamental to developing quality training products and student outcomes that are relevant, contemporary and transferable.
