We welcome all leaders from students, outdoor educators to seasoned managers to
come to this session. This workshop is a snapshot of some of the gold from one
module of eight in Personify Leadership co-founded by Michelle Cummings (USA
Training Wheels) and adapted for this conference. Bec is the first Australian certified
facilitator of this course, bringing it to from the US to Asia-Pacific region. Whether in
the field or in management this session is sure to spark new ideas around the
mindset of a leader. This will provide some ‘a-ha’ moments on how to engage more
effectively with your team, as well as manage self and others in times of stess.
The "Mind of a Leader" is an essential component of leadership, as it explores
emotional resilience, locus of control, stress management, biofeedback and
connection with others. Embracing universal human psychological neurons and
behaviours can prepare us as leaders for scenarios and understand emotions,
behaviours and actions of our teams and how they all mesh to influence one another
and quality outcomes.
During this workshop session, you may:
– Deepen your strategies to enhance the mindset of a leader.
– Develop key skills and practical “how to’s” for leading your teams.
– Gain a greater appreciation for your own stressors, strengths and
development areas.
– Experience a comprehensive and diverse approach to leadership mindset.
– Will be exposed to strategies in the field of leadership development.
It will be engaging, have quick group activities, and provide key leadership strategies
to take away. It is not only pure gold for leadership but also human connection, team
building, self-care and self-awareness.
