About the Presenters
David Eager is the Professor of Risk Management and Injury Prevention, as well as Professor of
Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology
at the University of Technology Sydney. David is serving Chair of Standards Australia Committee SF-
047 on Artificial Climbing Structures, Challenge Courses and Flying Foxes.
Murray Tucker has a 40 odd year career in outdoor education, adventure travel, and technical and
vocational training. Murray is serving as deputy chair of Standards Australia Committee SF-047 on
Artificial Climbing Structures, Challenge Courses and Flying Foxes.
