Info for Presenters

We are preparing for the largest annual Outdoors Sector conference in Australia! The Outdoors Victoria Conference is being held on Thursday 14th – Fri 15th of August 2025 at LaTrobe University (Bendigo Campus) in Bendigo, where 300+ attendees will converge to network and be exposed to inspiring presentations.

We are looking for up to 36 presentations, workshops and panel discussions to make up our program accross the two days. Most presentations will be up to 60 minutes with up to 6 concurrent presentations within session blocks.

This year, we’re moving away from conference streams and instead providing general guidance on key topics shaping the program. To help attendees navigate the content, we’ll use two types of tags for each presentation—one for audience relevance and another for topics. 

*These Audience Tags and content Tracks will be displayed on the Agenda and assist participants to filter and choose presentations most relevant to them.

Upon submitting you can allocate multiple Audience tags and topic Tracks that are relevant to your abstract which will be reviewed by convenors.

• Presentations will take place on Thursday, August 14 and Friday, August 15, 2025. You will receive confirmation of which day your presentation will be scheduled on in confirmation communication, this will be dependant on program design.
• Sessions will generally run for 60 minutes and can be workshops, lectures, panels, or practical sessions.
• Presenters must have a backup person capable of delivering the session if needed.
• Upon acceptance, presenters will receive access to a heavily discounted ticket, available for a Thursday-only, Friday-only, or full two-day pass
• If you are submitting a proposal, please wait to purchase your ticket until you receive confirmation of your presentation acceptance. 
• Presenters will also have extended access to Early Bird pricing, if you want to attend on the day you’re not presenting, allowing you to purchase tickets at the reduced rate beyond the standard deadline.
