
The course fee: $695.00 (includes GST) per person
Your fee includes:
- Instruction in the bush with Bob Cooper and other qualified instructors
- All meals and accommodation
- A Survival Kit, Snake Bite Kit and Emergency Blanket
- An Outback Survival Certificate upon successful completion of the course
The course is conducted at Anglesea Ymca Recreation Camp- 1.5 hours from Melbourne.

- Navigation with compass, sun, moon and stars
- Water procurement and management techniques
- Avoiding poisoning by toxic vegetation
- Edible and medicinal plants
- Modern and traditional survival kits and skills
- Snake awareness and bite treatment
- Alternative fire-lighting methods, including friction
- Emergency signals, day and night
- String making out of natural fibres
- Plus many more useful lessons to make your outings safer
