This presentation will outline the role of the Conservation Regulator and how we investigate environmental crime. Using the recent take of reptiles and destruction of granite outcrops at Mt. Korong as an example, we’ll discuss how sensitive ecosystems and threatened species (such as lace monitors) are affected by human action. Finally, we will help outline what things forest visitors look out for on public land and how to report illegal activity to us.
