The Victorian Government has today announced that the circuit breaker actions that came into effect last week, will end tonight at 11.59pm on Wednesday 17 February.
The DET has announced that all Victorian schools will return to on-site learning from Thursday 18 February.
Victorian schools will return on-site with the same health and safety measures that were in place on Friday 12 February, schools will receive more specific advice as a memory jogger tomorrow..
From 11.59pm on Wednesday 17 February, school camps, including to remote campuses, are permitted to resume across Victoria for all schools. There are no restrictions on travel between metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
From 11.59pm Wednesday 17 February, consistent with advice for the broader community, school staff when not teaching and secondary school students aged 12 or older, must wear a face mask at school, unless an exception applies:
- in all indoor spaces
- in all outdoor spaces when 1.5m physical distance cannot be maintained.
- Visitors and parents must also observe this guidance.
