Join Heads of Outdoor Ed. from Brighton Grammar, Melbourne Grammar, MLC & St Leonard’s College to discuss the expectations that employers from Independent Schools will have of prospective employees and that employees should have of employers. As the landscape around pay, conditions, working hours & rosters evolves, this session aims to provide a touch point to hear from employers, ask questions and be in a more informed position for the future.
About the Presenters
Rob began his outdoor career in 2010 as a Cert IV trainee at The Outdoor Education Group and is currently the Head of Outdoor Education at Brighton Grammar School.
Ben is Head of Outdoor Education at St Leonard’s College, where he has been for nearly 20 years. When he is not there, or on a program, he is likely on a surfboard or mountain bike, or driving his daughters around to wherever they need to be.
Nic entered the outdoor education sector in 2012 as a freelancing TAFE graduate and is now Director of Outdoor Education at Melbourne Grammar School.
Marion has worked in residential and outdoor education for over 20 years in a variety of schools and programs. She is currently the Director of Education Outdoors at MLC.
